Had a light breeze & 78' plus some CO2 guns that needed a blow-out. I sometimes forget how quiet & accurate they can be. I put a cheap X4 CenterPoint on the QB-78 and found it shoots hole in hole at 10 yards. Will make a mini range report & post targets pics for each in separate posts.
Top to bottom: Scoped QB-78, Crosman 1077W (Wood Stock), Benjamin Wildfire, Ruger 10/22 .177 pellet repeater, Crosman 2240 scoped pistol.

Click to enlarge for better image. Pellet use for all tests was Daisy flat nose (also call, match or wadcutter). Bought a bunch of these & Daisy .22 wadcutter when they were cheap on walmart.com. Like under $2 per tin. They fly great in most low to medium power guns.
Ruger 10/22 CO2 rifle - 10 shots. First time shooting this one. Changed position to check 5 misfires so gave it another go. Ruger 10/22 2nd try. Will post a review on this rifle. 10 shot mag is a poor design & frequently fails to advance. Has potential tho.
Surprise of the day was a new 1077 Wood Stock, Open sights. 7 shots.
Only PCP rifle that day. Benjamin Wildfire, the PCP version of the 1077. Crappy groups with pellets tumbling. Probably too light for the power. It's only used to dispatch rattle snakes & toads anyway. Close-in work.
Best group of the day - 7 shots from QB-78
2240 Pistol. 6 shots. Yeah, out of practice.
