This one will be a seriously a power-tuned rifle. Looking for FPE increase of around 35-40% over stock capabilities. Lower than factory shot count but increased power for longer range & heavier projectiles. Will take photos as it progresses over the next few days. Parts upgrades include
Crosman barrel swapping for Walther Lothar .22 cal barrel Hill Airguns Upgraded hammer, hammer spring & striker Increased transfer port size, polished, Hill anodized & polished transfer tube Hill large gauge plenum Captain O-ring upgraded reseal kit Archer Airguns de-gas port seal kit Bolt switched to left-hand operation, polished insertion shaft (yes, insert joke here)
To be tested with & without Huma & Benjamin regulators
Boyds Laminated Pro Varmint Stock
A bit of a test bed this one. More of a way to find out what I want to build for myself really. Will be sold with options for final configuration. More to come

Crosman barrel swapping for Walther Lothar .22 cal barrel - Done! Hill Airguns Upgraded hammer, hammer spring & striker - Decided to wait until chrono test done with other upgrades first. Increased transfer port size, polished, Hill anodized & polished transfer tube - Done! Hill large gauge plenum - Want to test shot count with stock unit & power tune first. Captain O-ring upgraded reseal kit - Where required Archer Airguns de-gas port seal kit - Done! Bolt switched to left-hand operation, polished insertion shaft (yes, insert joke here)- Done!
Going to test @ 30 yards with new barrel but without air stripper or suppressor baffles in barrel shroud. Will chrono test as well as accuracy with this configuration before completing upgrades.

Tried several pellets on the old Shooting Chrony (sadly, out of business). The best average energy/accuracy yeilded so far is the H&N Piledriver @ 30 gr and 49.72 FPE, with crony at 10 yards & target @ 40 yards. True muzzle energy would be slightly higher. That is right in there compared to a standard 29gr .22 Short @ 50 FPE. Hot .22 short loads have a higher FPS & lighter bullet weights.
And we're not yet done sucking power out of the rifle. More to come.
